compuresource has been active in recycling used computer equipment for the past 8 years. Computer equipment that otherwise would end up in the landfill is taken in here, and we will try to salvage whatever we can. We give many items away at no charge or at a nominal fee that covers our cost of checking it out, and testing it for functionality. This has been a compuresource store policy since our existence. Nowadays more and more data is stored on a home computer. While in the past home data wasn't so important: homework, letters, etc, today all of that has changed. Digital still and video cameras, home businesses, Blackberrys and Palms mean that the information stored on a home computer is sometimes just as important as that stored in the business world.

So, it's been two weeks...what's our verdict on Vista? On the positive side, it's a major improvement over Windows XP - faster, cleaner, the new 'Flip' feature to switch between programs is very cool. The built-in security features such as 'Windows Defender', while not necessarily good news for Symantec and McAfee, are going to help the average user keep spyware and like from his computer. We just received a batch of the 20" Viewsonic VP201b screens. The code dates are in between the end of 2003 and the beginning of 2004. A must see!! ... But be prepaired to walk out of our store with 299 plus tax less. They are absolutely incredible. The current replacement model, the VP2030b, sells for over 500. Comments
